    Meet Nancy Lum, Owner, RD, LDN

     

    Nancy Lum, RD, LDN has been practicing since 2001 and has been involved in multiple medical disciplines.  She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences.   Nancy counsels clients with various nutrition-related conditions including gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, heart disease as well as those undergoing bariatric surgery, www.nutrition5.com .  She also specializes in sports nutrition, general weight loss, and wellness.  Nancy is the owner/founder of The GI and Bariatric Nutrition Center LLC, co-founder of TRILOGY www.TrilogyTransformationalCoaching.com and co-founder of STRIVE MD LLC Motivational Group Therapy – est. 2012 www.STRIVEMD.com ; which focuses on nutrition, lifestyle and behavior modification to get to the root cause of eating habits.

    Meet Annie Deremeik, RD, LDN
     

     

    Annie has been practicing clinical nutrition since 2004 and specializes in pediatrics. She enjoys working with children and their families to find sensible healthy lifestyle habits centered around flexibility and moderation. She is comfortable working with children of all ages and has experience with infant feeding, GI disorders, and weight management.

     

    Annie grew up here in Baltimore County.  She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nutrition from the University of Delaware.  She completed her training to become a Registered Dietitian through Winthrop University’s Internship Program.  She currently works at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore on the NICU and Maternal floors and cross covers inpatient and outpatient pediatrics.  Prior to her work at Sinai, Annie worked in the NIC and Pediatric Units at GBMC and Mercy Hospital. She also has spent time with the Y of Central Maryland creating and implementing a nutrition education curriculum for the grant-funded afterschool program FitNFun.  Annie also provided consultant dietitian services for Pacify.  

    In her free time, Annie enjoys spending time outdoors, being active and cooking with her 3 children and husband.
